Bodyguards

The basic plotline is actually less confusing than I had originally thought — Valentino plays a wealthy European businessman involved in petrol trading and hunky Fernando Nielsen plays his bodyguard. Valentino envies Nielsen — who is a bodybuilder on the side — because of his free spirit and wishes that he could just get away from the grind of work. But his temperament won’t seem to allow him to change.

As the movie progresses, we see the two getting closer and closer. (Just don’t look for a payoff, folks — if Nielsen and Valentino are pairing up, they’re waiting for the sequel.)

However, international performer-turned-director Roland Dane has still crafted together some fine sex scenes: bodyguard Nielsen and masseuse Orlando Toro have a heated romp; there’s a nice fantasy sequence in the gym where Valentino immerses himself in a spirited foursome — and the finale makes another foursome a reality for him.

Overall, a really well done job.
