ActionGirls.Com Volume 2
Sylvia Saint finds herself in a bleak, not-too distant future where society and civilization as we know it no longer exists. Gangs ravage and loot the once-populated cities and towns, recruiting anyone who will join their cause. Our poor Action Girls must do what it takes to survive -- which means kicking a whole hell of a lot of ass!
Saint sure knows how to handle a rocket launcher (and it looks like she's been working those abs), but for me the real treat of this volume is, strangely enough, the expertly crafted music that highlights each segment. When our heroines discover a destroyed home full of burnt children's toys and clothing or when the ladies train to fight (in a sequence that includes the firing off an arsenal of guns that'd make John Matrix from the flick Commando blush), the music is perfect.
The combination of the great music and steamy visuals are what help this series. I couldn't see it holding my attention with just one or the other.
This movie feels like those old cheesy Russ Myer movies where buxom beauties spout off horribly-acted one-liners while shooting the shit out of things and blowing stuff up (although this series thankfully removes the horrible dialogue and replaces it with more T&A).
It's not all guns and danger, however, as there are moments when the tempo drops and an Action Girl will soak her temper in the coolness of a beautiful swimming pool, getting herself nice and wet for us. These gals also work out and take lots of showers, but then it's right back to the fancy guns and the "pow pow" and the "bang bang."
This is a great follow-up to the first volume. This series is unique and fun, and I hope it has a long, long life.
