Make Every Moment Count

Director Kay Brandt and writer Midnight bring to life two stories about devious women who will do whatever it takes to satisfy their needs, no matter how despicable.

I love the way Kay Brandt tells stories. She knows how to get performances from her cast to accentuate the mood and tone of a tale, and she has a great eye for capturing sex. In these two short films, she brings to life women who make choices that many would deem irredeemable, but she does it with such flair that audiences will find it impossible not to be swept up into the sexual fervor. Lulu Chu is the prime standout here, delivering a sweltering performance. Meanwhile, the complex nature of the second scene should be recognized for its boldness.

“Make Every Moment Count” (Lulu Chu and Ryan Mclane):

This story is taboo in every sense of the word. Felicia (Lulu Chu) is understandably struggling with the death of her father. Add to that the recent loss of her mother, and Felicia is reeling. At the wake, her emotions overwhelm her, and only the timely intervention of her father’s best friend Patrick (Ryan Mclane) keeps her from cracking completely. But when Patrick moves to leave Felicia for the evening, the vulnerable 18-year-old woman reveals to Patrick that she’s had a thing for him for years and has a different kind of comfort in mind. Everything about this scene is exactly what Pure Taboo thrives on. A young woman fucking her dead father’s best friend at his wake? You can’t get more taboo than that! And boy howdy, does Lulu bowl a strike in bringing her character to life! She goes from innocent and vulnerable to conniving and manipulative in very convincing fashion. Their relationship is played perfectly, their age difference is played perfectly, and their sex is played perfectly. The more Patrick strips Felicia of her clothes, the hungrier he gets. And the more he touches her, the more wanton Felicia gets. Everything about this scene screams “old man fucking a smoking hot young woman who he knows damn well he shouldn’t be fucking, but goddamn, she’s so hot he can’t help it, so he’s gonna do all the nastiest, naughtiest stuff to her while he can” energy. Yes folks, it’s fucking hot.

“Covering Her Tracks” (Destiny Cruz, Robby Echo, and Billy Boston):

Destiny Cruz is in a committed relationship with Robby Echo, but something is missing. While Robby is more than ready to take their relationship to the next level, Destiny is hesitant to take such a life-altering plunge. When she admits as much to Robby’s brother Billy Boston, he makes her an offer that she, against her better judgement, accepts — a choice that will change all their lives forever. This is one of the more “taboo” scenes I’ve seen from this studio in quite some time. I don’t want to spoil the story, but there is absolutely something shocking and untoward about this story, and Destiny plays it pretty well. She also gets to do a ton of heavy lifting in the sex department. She first fucks Billy after his brother passes out from too much partying, and their sex is nice, albeit requiring some editing magic. There’s a pretty lengthy softcore sequence that could either be a directorial choice for tone and mood or a necessity due to performance issues. Either way, Destiny looks great and takes a pretty good pumping from Billy that results in a dirty cream pie. Later on, she offers her pussy to Robby sans condom (plot twist!), and the result is a very passionate session between the two.
