Max Adonis and Austin Avery handily steal the show as a couple of hunky, hippie “sexologists” who radically upend a weekend wellness retreat planned by uptight Brock Banks.

Helmer Jake Jaxson earned the 2022 XBIZ Award for “Gay Director of the Year,” his fourth win in the category.

The bucolic location and wacky storyline, along with a cast of sexy, game studs, is pure CockyBoys. The formula really works if you’re in the mood to play along as it tweaks and pokes self-absorbed influencers and corporate wellness platitudes.

Banks plays a “mindfulness coach” who organizes a sexual wellness retreat for gay men who need a break from the pandemic lockdowns. But Avery and Adonis aren’t the only employees with their own plans in motion. Given room to improvise and riff off each other, they elevate every scene. Adonis, handsomely scruffy with his wide blue eyes, is a treat; he and Avery, built like a swimmer, are a terrific comic duo.

Drew Dixon and Dallas Preston are a pair of vacuous best buds absorbed in their phones and fighting their attraction to each other. Very butch, musclebound lifeguard/bouncer Roman Todd helps them break through their inhibitions with a series of silly hijinks (Dixon is a natural comedian) that lead to a sweatily passionate threeway, including pulling a train as Todd fucks Dixon, who bangs the slender, young and apple-cheeked Preston. (The pup also displays oral skills that seem to impress even an experienced vet like Todd.)

Kane Fox and Adrian Hart are a romantic couple experiencing tension in their relationship. Fox can barely get Hart into bed for slurpy exchanged blowjobs.
