Whereas Grand is smoothly professional, Jones is blithely snappish and dominant. He explains to Grand that the sub/dom dynamic in his relationship with Mitchell could help Grand deal with the neurotic Leon. Jones sets up a webcam to allow Grand to observe his next session with Mitchell.

The pre-release press for “Hollywood & Vine” touted a role for Mitchell that showcased him in a whole new way. True words. The popular star, a strikingly handsome side of wholesome beefcake, is known for his still-waters-run-deep demeanor. Credit to co-directors Jaxson and Sebastian for casting him wholly against type as a jittery Hollywood power-player who longs to be subjugated. It’s a sexy change of pace for Mitchell. And Jones, very lean and boyishly beautiful with a bulging jock strap, displays heretofore unknown talents as a dominant. He teases, taunts and controls Mitchell in a powerfully erotic exchange and it’s fascinating to watch how Mitchell opens up sexually and, thus empowered, briefly shifts back to his typical alpha-top role.

The wondrous Calvin Banks turns up as an easygoing hippie sex guru hired to help Nico Leon break through his erotic and emotional insecurities. Banks, lean and lightly furred with a twinkly smile, takes control from the start as Leon groans, moans and whimpers with pleasure. Whereas his rut with Hanson was frenzied, his sex with Banks is more measured and sensual. It’s a terrific pairing with body contact and a constant stream of gentle reassurance and encouragement from Banks, who slides his plus-sized cock into Leon’s tight chute until he unleashes an impressive river of seed. He then coaches Leon to an intense climax of his own and leaves him with wise words of advice about self-love.

The newly emboldened Leon apologizes to Grand and takes him to bed with a surprise gift — the delectable Hanson. The men kiss and thoroughly enjoy eating out the adorable Grand; Leon jerks himself to climax as he watches them make love and then leaves as Hanson fucks Grand in an assplay-centric pairing. All six actors acquit themselves nicely and handle the breezy dialogue with aplomb. Sharp editing underscores the comic tone. Jones and Grand, in particular, develop distinct characters; one amusing exchange has them simultaneously talking to each other and maintaining multiple conversations with four separate phones.

Jaxson and Sebastian incorporate plenty of footage of the Hollywood landscape from a red carpet press line with shouting photographers to the Walk of Fame on Hollywood Boulevard. Closing credits include an entertaining blooper reel.
