With such a strong cast assembled under the guidance of Vicomte, the audience knows they’re in for a treat.

They’re immediately met by Shaft and Cale, and the festivities are off! One thing I will say about this scene right away is the way it’s lit. The ladies are clearly visible and all the relevant action is visible as well, but everything else is pitch black, which adds an intriguing air of mystery to the scene scene.
