Q&A: Bailey Archer Reigns as XBIZ Best Trans Cam Model

Bailey Archer first entered the adult industry as a cam model towards the end of 2018. Looking back at how far she has come since then, she marvels at the progress she has made in her professional life.

Reflecting on her initial foray into the biz, Archer recalled, “I had lost my job, and I was very close to being kicked out of my apartment due to the fact that I could barely pay rent.

There’s an art to chatting and interacting with people, along with the art of seduction and masturbation.

“I started off with just a crappy webcam plugged into my laptop, and some really bad lighting, but as time went on I just kept going with it and got better,” she continued. “From there, the rest is history.”

Now, with hundreds of thousands of followers on Twitter and Instagram, more than 60,000 likes on OnlyFans and a Best Trans Cam Model win at the 2022 XBIZ Cam Awards, Archer sees no limits to where she can take her career.

Striking a balance between onscreen seduction and conversational banter, the Canadian all-star continually elevates her game, finding unique ways to engage and monetize her fan base.

To better understand her journey thus far, as well as her goals and plans, XBIZ sat down with August’s Cam Star of the Month for this exclusive interview.

XBIZ: As a cam model, how have you evolved over time?

ARCHER: I used to feel like camming just involved sitting down in front of a webcam and masturbating. Over time, I learned there’s much more to it. It’s an art. There’s an art to chatting and interacting with people, along with the art of seduction and masturbation. I still have a ways to go, but after gaining experience I feel like I have become better at balancing the sex with the intimate aspect of camming.

XBIZ: What camming platform are you primarily active on and what do you like most about the brand?

ARCHER: The platform I’m currently on and have been on since the start of my career is Chaturbate. My favorite thing about the brand has been the fact that it was through Chaturbate that I found many of my loyal fans and the energy they give me during each show really pushes me to do my best.

XBIZ: Describe a typical day on cam. What kind of activities or fan requests do you engage in most frequently?

ARCHER: A typical show with me usually involves a lot of conversation, along with some seduction and masturbation using a variety of different toys. I’m always making sure everybody’s having fun. The biggest thing I love to bring to my shows is authenticity. I always want my fans to see that.

I get quite a few requests during my shows, but the biggest one would be people asking me to cum, hands-free. One that I have been partaking in — and this one is fairly new — is requests to spin my hard dick around in a circle, hands-free, haha.

XBIZ: What other models in the industry are you close with, and whom do you admire most?

ARCHER: Throughout my camming career, I have really looked up to cam models like Casey Kisses, Kylie LeBeau, Ruby Fiera and Jade 49. I really admire their skill, determination and strategy, along with always having great energy in their shows. I am really lucky to say that I have been able to have a friendship with Jade, Kylie and Casey.

XBIZ: How do you handle social media growth?

ARCHER: In all honesty, my socials are some of the most hectic things for me to deal with. Between getting lots of messages from different people and also keeping up on posting content, it can be quite overwhelming. So with that, I always try to plan my posts ahead of time, preselect all my content for the week and take a couple of hours every two days to go through messages. I always try to let my fans know as well that there is one main platform that I’m always active on and can be reached through. Balance is key, and it can be hard to find at times.

XBIZ: What are your other revenue streams besides camming, and what kind of content do you like to produce?

ARCHER: Apart from camming, I would have to say OnlyFans is my biggest source of secondary income. I also enjoy promoting my OnlyFans through my camming, and vice versa. The kind of content I enjoy posting on my OnlyFans varies, from submissive play to dom action and a lot of different things in between. I like to do my best and curate my page in a way that hopefully lets everybody find something they are looking for.

XBIZ: Discuss your time management strategies to keep up with the many other platforms you're on, such as Reddit, TikTok, RedGIFs and Fansly.

ARCHER: I believe the key with time management is always making sure to plan ahead, which includes making time for yourself. Days off are just as important as days at work, because without those days off, you don’t have any time to really recollect yourself or enjoy what it is you’re working so hard to achieve.

I also like to plan separate days for separate things. For example, Monday is for content and messages on OnlyFans; Tuesday is for Instagram, Twitter and my other socials; Wednesday is for camming and so on. Even if you don’t stick to your full plan, just having a rough idea in place can really reduce stress.

XBIZ: What was it like winning Best Trans Cam Model at the XBIZ Cam Awards this year?

ARCHER: Honestly, winning was completely surreal to me. I wish somebody videotaped my face because I looked like a deer in headlights, haha. I really didn’t think I was going to win, because the people I was nominated with are absolutely amazing at what they do.

To just know that people are watching me, experiencing what I’m doing and actually enjoying it, it’s mind-blowing to say the least. To receive an award for it? I’m still in awe after a couple of months, haha. I am truly so blessed to have won and I’m forever grateful to everybody who helped me get to this point in my career. It makes me excited for the future and being able to do more with my shows and my content.

XBIZ: Tell us about your grand plans for the rest of 2022 and beyond.

ARCHER: For the rest of 2022, I’m really looking forward to working on my camming and creating more fun shows for people to enjoy. I also am excited to work on more content and keep pushing myself to see what I’m capable of. If you told me two years ago I would be where I am now, I wouldn’t have believed you. From the starting point of my career to now, I have learned so much about myself and what I can do, and I’m so excited to keep going.
