Seizing on the Benefits of Cam-to-Cam Streaming

Seizing on the Benefits of Cam-to-Cam Streaming

After 10 years of camming, I’ve discovered that cam-to-cam is a great way to increase your token count once you’ve met your goals for the day, as well as the perfect means by which to develop deeper relationships with your fans.

I have been camming full-time ever since I turned 18, and I haven’t really focused on anything else — though I am currently studying to become a mortician. My fans aren’t surprised by my field of study, since they know I have a dark sense of humor and they really accept it. My room is usually pretty chaotic because I try to do a little bit of everything. I am also constantly losing stuff, so my fans often find me hanging over the side of the bed looking for whatever is missing! I love sharing my personality and talking to people in my chatroom, even when I am not doing something “sexy.” That’s the reason I find cam-to-cam to be such a great feature for streaming. It goes hand in hand with doing private shows, since they are kind of similar and one can be used to boost the other.

Usually, with cam-to-cam-interactions, it’s a flirty back-and-forth type of situation. It’s mostly about the art of the tease. I try to pay attention to the fan and judge who they are and what they like.

The feature lets you see fans in a pop-up window while you are performing in your room. This way you can give them a special wink or a nod, or say a little something that lets them know you see them.

DETERMINING PRICE RANGES

Always know your worth and make sure you charge accordingly. For cam-to-cam, I charge 200 tokens, which is $10. I enable multiple cam-to-cam windows and can earn more this way, whereas I’d charge more for a one-on-one show.

That seems to be an amount people are willing to pay. If I charge more, I lose people, and if I charge less I end up with too many windows open, which can become too much to handle.

As far as how much time that includes, I always tell fans the price covers however long it takes for them to feel satisfied. I always have the feature enabled, and a lot of fans have mentioned that not every model does; I think folks are really missing out by not using it.

ENCOURAGING LENGTHIER SHOWS AND MORE INTERACTION

While I pay extra attention to the cam-on-cam fans beaming in, my main priority is always the open chat. That lets fans know they don’t have me to themselves, but also encourages them to tip more or book a truly private session if they want more attention.

Usually, with cam-to-cam-interactions, it’s a flirty back-and-forth type of situation. I try to pay attention to the fan and judge who they are and what they like. Sometimes it’s niche things, like making sure I have my latex stockings ready to put on if I know that’s their thing.

This is one of the reasons I like to do cam-to-cam performances after I have met all my expectations and goals for the day: the pressure is off and I can concentrate more and enjoy the experience. It also frees me up to pay a bit more individual attention to the fans in the windows.

I’m not giving away a whole private show, but I am doing what I can to make them feel special. If you’re not sure how to do that, remember: it’s all about the art of the tease. A wink, perhaps a little thumb-sucking. There are plenty of books out there you can read about burlesque. In my experience, that’s one of the best ways to learn how to tease.

HANDLING DIFFERENT TYPES OF CAM-TO-CAM REQUESTS

Even though I keep the cam-to-cam feature toggled on all the time, when someone requests cam-to-cam, I send a private message to them to ensure we are on the same page. With fans I have interacted with before, I try to remember what I know about them so I can work in something they might want or really like. With new fans, I like to clarify expectations beforehand.

The most common requests are from people who want you to watch them while they get off, and often they want to do that while you get off too. Some might want a certain outfit, or want you to say a specific sentence or phrase. Others enjoy using interactive toys. For special requests like that, and for more specific requests like back-and-forth role-play, I ask for additional tips.

SETTING BOUNDARIES

No matter what kind of cam show you’re putting on, cam-to-cam or not, never do anything that will make you uncomfortable or, worse yet, injure you. My profile lists what acts I am willing to perform and how much each costs, though I can be flexible if a regular with whom I feel comfortable wants a little something more. I am a barterer; offer me a deal and I might take it!

Some people are very direct and others aren’t, so sometimes a conversation is needed before a performance. When people ask for things I don’t do, I will usually refer them to another model I know who is interested in those types of interactions. For example, I am not into using big toys, but I can send fans who ask to someone who does. That’s the benefit of networking: you can refer fans to each other in those situations. That way, everyone has a positive experience and the other model is inclined to refer fans to you.

If you’re uncertain about getting started with cam-to-cam, try inviting a regular to do one so you can get used to how it works. Bottom line: There is no one set way to host cam-to-cam interactions. It’s just about diving in and trying it.
