WIA Profile: Reka Horvath

LiveJasmin’s Reka Horvath loves what she does.

Horvath, who has worked with LiveJasmin since 2010, is in the thick of things at the live cams company as leader of the Account Management department.

I’m very happy to say that there is no such thing as a typical day at work for me here at LiveJasmin, which is awesome because I’m a very dynamic person.

While the title might sound a bit dull, the job isn’t.

Horvath’s work includes dealing with models and studios all day long, building bridges to make sure the results are positive. She and her team track model performance and progress, and they offer tips on how to improve.

To offer that type of advice you must be a people person, and that is exactly what type Horvath is.

XBIZ recently spoke with Moore, April’s WIA Woman of the Month, to learn more about her role at LiveJasmin and what makes her tick.

XBIZ: Let’s hear about your role at one of the legendary live cam brands. What exactly do you do at Live Jasmin?

Horvath: I am the leader of the Account Management department. We are responsible for maintaining close contacts with our models and studios to help build a stronger and professional relationship. Our goal is to make sure we always achieve the best possible results together.

XBIZ: What prepared you for what you are doing now?

Horvath: I started to work with LiveJasmin back in 2010 as a junior colleague in the online support department — when I was only 20 years old. As I began to learn and understand more about LiveJasmin and the business, I also became familiar with the partners’ side of the industry, and it was very interesting to see how the two sides complement each other.

XBIZ: What’s the best part of the job at LiveJasmin?

Horvath: Besides working with amazing people? I really enjoy meeting new people and partners and forming strong connections, sometimes even friendship with them.

XBIZ: What type of cam performer is LiveJasmin looking for?

Horvath: We are proud to say that all kinds of models can be successful on LiveJasmin. Based on what we see, the most important factor is the performers’ authenticity. They should remain true to their personality, be open-minded and friendly and, of course, smile.

XBIZ: What do you do to help inspire models to achieve goals?

Horvath: We show our models that with us nothing is impossible and they can become famous and recognized. We value them and they always come first in everything we do. Their own goals and needs are key for us. As for my team, we keep a close eye on the models’ performance, progress and growth, and we provide personalized feedback and suggestions on how to improve on a regular basis.

XBIZ: Who inspires you in this industry?

Horvath: I’m inspired by my colleagues and partners. It is amazing to see how my co-workers come to the office with smiles on their faces day after day, and to see how they take every day as a new challenge and opportunity to create something exceptional.

XBIZ: What’s a typical work day like?

Horvath: They say if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life. I’m very happy to say that there is no such thing as a typical day at work for me here at LiveJasmin, which is awesome because I’m a very dynamic person. One day you can find yourself in front of a computer in Budapest, the other day you are in a meeting room in Luxembourg, at the meet market in Cartagena or LiveJasmin booth in Mamaia.

XBIZ: When not thinking about LiveJasmin, what do you like to do?

Horvath: I love to spend time with my husband and our dog, hang out with friends, dance and travel. Sometimes I find myself doing all of them at once.

Before founding VerifyMy, Ryan Shaw was simply looking for an age verification solution for his previous business. The ones he found, however, were too expensive, too difficult to integrate with, or failed to take into account the needs of either the businesses implementing them or the end users who would be required to interact with them.

It's Time to Rock the Vote and Make Your Voice Heard

When I worked to defeat California’s Proposition 60 in 2016, our opposition campaign was outspent nearly 10 to 1. Nevertheless, our community came together and garnered enough support and awareness to defeat that harmful, misguided piece of proposed legislation — by more than a million votes.

Account-to-Account Payments: The New Banking Disruptor?

So much of our industry relies upon Visa and Mastercard to support consumer payments — and with that reliance comes increased scrutiny by both brands. From a compliance perspective, the bar keeps getting raised until it feels like we end up spending half our time making sure we are compliant rather than growing our business.
