How did you get into the business?
Only by chance, really. I was looking for something more interesting and challenging, but I didn’t have any ideas on what it was that I wanted. Then I was introduced to my CEO by a mutual friend; that was almost two years ago now and I haven’t looked back since.
The only personal challenge is that I find that nothing surprises me anymore, you get to see a lot!
What in your background prepared you for what you are doing now?
I actually have around 10 years behind me in the financial industry, but it has given me the core basics to know how to work with people and learning products that have to constantly evolve with the times. I can assure you that this industry is an awful lot more fun though.
What do you see as the challenges of working in the adult online business? How do you overcome them?
I think that there are challenges in any online business. It’s important to know what is happening in your industry and keeping on top of it constantly. One of the great things about my work is there is always something new to learn, or something new happening that it just never gets old. The only personal challenge is that I find that nothing surprises me anymore, you get to see a lot!
Does your work life affect your personal life?
Not really, no more than any other job would do. I don’t see being in the adult industry as different to doing anything else. I enjoy my work, it’s part of who I am and I’ve grown because of it.
